Jeep Rentals Policy

TIRE AND WINDSHIELD INSURANCE

Purchase tire & windshield insurance for $30/day vs. replacement tires at $450 each and windshields at $645. Insurance covers (1) tire under normal driving conditions.

AUTO INSURANCE

You must provide your proof of comprehensive and collision insurance before rental of 75K. (Most insurance cards do not show this.) We do not give or offer any insurance of any type. You are responsible for 100% of all liability, damage, or loss by you, including damage caused by weather, acts of God, or terrain conditions. You are responsible for the repair cost or the actual cash value of the vehicle on the day of loss if it is not repairable or if we elect not to repair it. You are responsible for the theft of the rental, loss of use, diminished value of the vehicle caused by damage to it, or repair of it. Damage or replacement costs are determined by the manufacturer's List Price at the time of the incident.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A $35 non-refundable deposit is required at booking. Your card will be charged the full rental amount 72 hours before your pickup date. To receive a refund (minus the deposit), cancellations must be made via email at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations within 72 hours will forfeit one day's rental charge plus the deposit. Reservation changes are only accepted up to 72 hours before rental.

DRIVERS

Anyone 25 years of age or older may be an additional driver of the Jeeps. However, they must provide separate full-coverage auto insurance (unless there is proof that they are covered under the primary driver's insurance) and a driver's license. The rental agreement must also list their name, date of birth, and phone number.

PROHIBITED

Black Bear Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch, and any other trail indicated on or before your pickup date as being off limits due to special hazards (example: still covered in snow) are prohibited in all rentals.

PICKUP AND DROP-OFF

Most customers prefer to pick up their Jeep between 6:00 and 8:00 pm the night before their rental date. If you cannot pick up your Jeep rental the night before, please contact us to schedule a time. All Jeeps MUST be returned by 5 pm on the final date of your rental.

LATE FEES AND EXTRA INFO

As of 1 minute late / $50 per hour. We usually book out 100%, so the next customer will be delayed when our Jeeps are not returned on time. We offer a concierge service for $40 + actual fuel costs, where your rental Jeep is washed and fueled up for you. Saving time.

Pet Policy

Pets may be permitted in select Jeeps for an additional deposit and cleaning fees (pending availability). Please call 970-325-4523 for additional information.

Please note:  Your booking date is the evening you pick up. Jeep rentals pickup are in the evening, between 5 and 8 pm (the day before you plan to start your Jeeping adventure).   Jeep Return is 5 p.m. on the last day of your Jeeping adventure.  This allows customers to have access to their rental for almost 24 hours!
